Case Study: Walk with Obi and Wade
Bridging Nature and Policy Through Storytelling
In the spirit of the historic 1903 meeting between naturalist John Muir and President Theodore Roosevelt, Wildbound PR orchestrated "Walk with Obi and Wade," a modern-day convergence of environmental insight and political leadership. This event brought together renowned naturalist Obi Kaufmann and California Secretary for Natural Resources Wade Crowfoot for a shared camping expedition, fostering authentic dialogue on environmental stewardship.
Our team documented the journey, and the resulting content offered audiences an intimate look at the intersection of ecological passion and policy-making. To extend the reach of this initiative, we premiered the event as a hosted a live-streamed hybrid event, inviting attendees into the conversation through a Q&A session with Kaufmann and Crowfoot. This digital gathering allowed viewers to engage directly with the subjects, fostering a broader community discussion on environmental issues.
Our innovative approach to blending storytelling with environmental advocacy earned us the Tricaster Social Impact Award, acknowledging our commitment to meaningful content that drives public engagement and awareness.
